Silver-Copper-Phosphor Brazing Alloys (Low Silver)

Sanhuan  silver-copper-phosphorus brazing alloy is a low-temperature alloy with excellent flowability and wettability, suitable for brazing similar or dissimilar metals. It provides high joint strength and good toughness, making it a suitable substitute for certain high-silver brazing alloys. By adding silver (Ag) to the copper-phosphorus alloy, the melting point is reduced, and the ductility, strength, toughness, and wettability on copper are significantly improved.

When brazing with silver-copper-phosphorus alloys, rapid heating is recommended. The joint may appear bright gray but can be restored to a copper color after acid pickling in a 10% sulfuric acid solution.
