The flux, which plays a key role in the wettability and flowability of the brazing alloy on copper and aluminum base materials, is a eutectic molecular molten salt composed of multiple fluorides. It is a non-corrosive flux, stable in nature, non-hygroscopic in air, and suitable for long-term storage.
The S20A copper-aluminum flux-cored brazing wire has moderate fluidity, better welding strength, and superior conductivity compared to SH0215, making it an ideal material for copper-aluminum brazing.
The S22 copper-aluminum flux-cored brazing wire has lower fluidity than S20A but provides better welding strength. It is suitable for brazing workpieces with larger gaps and tends to form accumulations more easily during welding compared to SH0215, making it better at filling gaps. For brazing copper-aluminum tubes, S22 is recommended as it creates joints with better density. For products with larger copper-aluminum tube diameters requiring higher penetration depth, the S200 copper-aluminum brazing wire and SFU312C copper-aluminum flux paste are recommended.
For products with larger welding cross-sections or special shapes, a combination of brazing wire or sheet and brazing paste can be used. This method allows for easier control of welding temperatures, requires lower technical skills, and simplifies the operation process.
